J. Medicine Hat has been performing professionally for over ten years. In the early 1980's Jent Started a soon to be successful stand-up act. Jent was spotted by the scouts of the syndicated talent program Star Search. Shortly thereafter, SHOWTIME CABLE NETWORK named Jent "THE FUNNIEST PERSON IN IOWA, which placed him in the "THE FUNNIEST PERSON IN AMERICA" FINALS. During a trip to Florida, Jent was spotted by talent staff from MTV, needless to say , Jent appeared on MTV shortly after this chance meeting. After an opportunity to serve as opening act for Hypnotist, Jim Wand, Jent became interested in the art of Stage Hypnosis. Under the watchful eye of Mr. Wand, Jent quickly applied his years of stand-up experience with his trained ability of Stage Hypnosis.
