This is THE bar/pub to go to in the city! There is free parking on the side streets, it has live music, there are TONS of 20-30 somethings who live around there and the staff is not only consistent (no turnover), but the friendliest in the city!

Great Irish pub. Come as you are and be yourself. Not snobby or pretentious. Try the car bomb - my favorite drink there.

While parking may be a bit of a pain, the bar makes up for it. The crowd ranges in age depending on what the evening's entertainment is, but it's usually a great place to be. The drinks are reasonable and I've always liked the entertainment.

The live bands are great. It can become really crowded since it is a smaller bar but you can always just move it outside to the great open patio area.

I like the outdoor patio at R.P. McMurphy's. It's a great place for happy hour or a casual evening.

Absolutely - it has a very friendly, laid back feel. There seem to be a lot of regulars that go there, which always speaks well of a place.
