The Taft Museum is very nice and has a nice lunch area as well. Prices for lunch are reasonable and it's a very pretty setting.

Yes, the building/house itself is gorgeous. The detail in everything is nice. And the art is great... some very unique and beautiful things there.

A hidden Cinti treasure

The Taft Museum of Art is probably one of the most overlooked and forgotten treasures in Cincinnati. It is a beautiful and quaint place to visit. The regular pieces on display are a must see. The exhibits brought in a handful of times a year are always interesting no matter what kind of art you might prefer. This is also a great place to catch a band or hit up for a special event outside in the courtyard. Beautiful and elegant but not uptight!

Usually have great exhibits. And the activities for kids and adults are fun. The permanent displays seem to cover a pretty broad spectrum (but I'm no art expert!). For someone who just wanted to go and look at some interesting, thought provoking, pretty things, I was pretty satisfied.
