Kinsey Rose is a singer/songwriter/musician from Louisville, KY. At a
very young age she took up piano and began composing her own songs. At the age of ten she studied voice and viola. At 13, Kinsey began
performing at local coffee shops and churches, and later that year, she
produced her first record.
She attended the Youth Performing Arts School (YPAS) and duPont
Manual High School where she was a part of the vocal and orchestra
departments. She traveled with the YPAS choir to sing at George W.
Bush’s first presidential inauguration and toured in London and Paris
and performed at various venues including the Notre Dame Cathedral.
Kinsey was also selected four years in a row to perform in the
All-State Choir. During high school, Kinsey led worship at Southeast
Christian Church in Louisville for student programs and also went on
mission trips to Guatemala and Cuba where she shared her love for
music. She sang at several weddings and performed the National Anthem at numerous high school and University sporting events.
After moving to Cincinnati Kinsey began writing with Jeff
Pence, of Blessid Union of Souls, and has a song cut on the Cincinnati
Clutch Hits sold at the Great American Ballpark. She has also had the
opportunity to sing the Star Spangaled Banner for the Reds last summer
and recently sang for the Los Angeles Dodgers in California. She also
has a song out currently for Jungle Jams; an album for the Bengals. She
is now working in the recording studio and will have a record to be
released in September of 2007.
