Many fine restaurants, today, tell a story. The story behind this restaurant is of my life growing up in the restaurant business in New Jersey. It is a culinary journey down my memory lane from the time I began working in restaurants at the age of 13. I always thought if I ever opened up my own restaurant, I would include some of the best things I witnessed growing up. Now I have.
Our beef is dry aged in an "exhibition" aging room that is visible from Walnut Street.
Our Wine Cellar not only stores 140 different red wines; it also serves as a private dining room for 10.
My designer, Dave Stevens (from Las Vegas) and I have come up with an Art Deco interior we haven’t seen anyone do before. This is a 1940's New York style Grand Steakhouse with "machismo". Dave Stevens has worked on such projects as the Venetian ($1.8 billion dollars) and he was one of the designers at The Luxor and MGM Grand. He also designed The Precinct and the Waterfront.

Jeff Ruby's is a fabulous restaurant. The food is phenomenal- easily the best steak I've had (aside from The Waterfront, another Ruby restaurant). Service is flawless and the wine list is extensive.

Anyone needs to get to a Jeff Ruby's restaurant. Great food and good location-great atmosphere to take visitors.
