Contemporary Dance Theater

Since 1972, Contemporary Dance Theater has been the sole arts organization in the tri-state to present and promote contemporary dance and related forms of performance art. CDT's contribution to the arts landscape is twofold. On the one hand, through its Guest Artist Series, CDT brings first rate professional contemporary dance companies to perform at the Jarson-Kaplan Theater at the Aronoff Center for the Arts. On the other, CDT supports local dancers, choreographers and other performance artists in varying stages of their careers by providing classes, rehearsal space and a performance venue at its College Hill Town Hall studio.
